During the reign of the Galactic Empire, a humanoid mercenary guarded a nomadic market on the moon Jedha. At one point, they briefly spoke to a visiting Imperial spy, warning them about the risks inherent in the venue.

A mercenary operated on the moon Jedha during the reign of the Galactic Empire. They stood guard at the entrance to a makeshift nomadic market. One of the most prominent such venues on Jedha, the market saw trade in contraband goods, and it lay at at a hidden location in the desert outside of Jedha City.
At one point by 1 BBY, the mercenary briefly spoke to an Imperial spy who was arriving at the market in order to acquire goods to trade to the profiteer Jalice Andit. The guard warned the spy, who was carrying a commercial license for operating in Jedha's markets, that it was easy to get lost in the nomad market and that the agent had much to learn about local trading. Afterward the spy entered the market proper.
The mercenary wore black-and-gray armor with orange chest and shoulder plates as well as a dark headscarf and short cape. They wielded a long blaster rifle.
The mercenary appeared in "Secret Mission on Jedha," a scenario of the 2020 Space Cowboys card game Unlock!: Star Wars Escape Game.
