Unidentified heavy freighter

A heavy freighter was active in the galaxy during the time of the First Order-Resistance War. Concurrently with the Battle of Exegol in 35 ABY, the freighter came into contact with a First Order Resurgent-class Star Destroyer above the Forest Moon of Endor. Utilizing a technique known as the Holdo maneuver, the crew of the freighter rammed into the Star Destroyer at lightspeed, sacrificing themselves to destroy the fearsome vessel.

The incident was witnessed by Ewoks Wicket and Pommet Warrick from the moon below. Unaware of the identities of the crew of the freighter, Wicket believed that the Destroyer's destruction was a blessing from the Golden One. Pommet concluded that the collision was the work of his father's old friends, Princess Leia Organa and C-3PO.

The heavy freighter first appeared in the 2019 film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker, though only in the form of wreckage far off in space. It was later identified as a heavy freighter in the 2021 reference book Star Wars: Battles that Changed the Galaxy.
