A clone shock trooper was a member of the Coruscant Guard during the end of the Clone Wars and the early days of the Galactic Empire. The clone trooper was stationed at the Republic Center for Military Operations and, along with another trooper, guarded Barriss Offee's cell.
In 19 BBY, shortly after the end of the Clone Wars and the beginning of the Jedi Purge, the former Jedi Barriss Offee, who was imprisoned in the Republic Center for Military Operations, saw the Jedi Temple burning through the window of her cell. Frightened and curious about what had happened, she called the shock trooper guarding her cell to inquire about the situation. Responding to her calls, the shock trooper and their fellow guard approached Offee's cell, ignoring her question and telling her to keep quiet. When she asked if there had been an attack on the Jedi Temple, the clone told her to be glad that she was not a Jedi anymore and that the Order would not exist the following day.
Sometime afterwards, the shock trooper returned to Offee's cell with the former Jedi Lyn Rakish. Rakish had come to Offee's cell to offer her the chance to be freed and serve the new Galactic Empire as an Inquisitor. Though initially hesitant, Offee agreed upon noticing one of the troopers ready their blaster, implying to Offee that she would be killed should she refuse.
As a clone of Jango Fett, the shock trooper stood 1.83 meters tall. The clone was authoritative, telling Offee to be quiet when she asked about the attack on the Jedi Temple. The soldier was confident that the Jedi Order would be wiped out overnight and slyly suggested that Offee be glad that she was no longer a part of it. The trooper was ready to kill Offee if she refused to travel to Nur and become an Inquisitor.
The clone shock trooper wore Phase II clone trooper armor, painted with the red markings of the Coruscant Guard. They also carried a DC-15A blaster carbine.
