A bartender owned a bar on the planet Eriadu during the time of the Galactic Empire. When a thief entered the bar to escape Imperial stormtroopers, the bartender caught the young boy, threatening to kill the thief for bringing trouble to the bar. After stormtroopers entered the bar searching for the thief, the ex-Imperial soldier Beilert Valance stood to defend the boy, attacking the stormtroopers. During the ensuing fight, Valance threw the bartender against one of the stormtroopers, knocking both to the ground outside the entrance to the bar.
During the reign of the Galactic Empire, the bartender worked at a bar within the settlement of Phelar Port on the planet Eriadu. Around 10 BBY, the bartender caught a young thief who was attempting to escape from Imperial stormtroopers after stealing ration packs from an Imperial speeder. The thief pleaded for help from the patrons of the bar, but the bartender held onto the young boy to prevent his escape, threatening to kill him for leading trouble into the bar.
The stormtroopers pursued the thief into the bar, demanding that the boy be handed over to them. However, the cyborg Beilert Valance, a former Imperial soldier who was discharged after receiving severe injuries, attacked the stormtroopers to defend the boy, angered by what his Imperial service had done to him. After shooting down several troopers, Valance threw the bartender into a stormtrooper, knocking both through the bar's entrance and onto the ground. Ultimately, the bounty hunter Nakano Lash stepped in to assist Valance, killing the remaining stormtroopers.
The bartender appeared in Bounty Hunters 2, a comic written by Ethan Sacks, illustrated by Paolo Villanelli, and published by Marvel Comics on March 25, 2020.
