A convoy of the Alliance to Restore the Republic was active during the Galactic Civil War against the Galactic Empire. In 4 ABY, prior to the Battle of Endor, the convoy, led by Captain Volk Aymeric, was tasked with protecting one of the Alliance leaders, Princess and General Leia Organa. The convoy fought Imperial forces that consisted of three Arquitens-class light cruisers and TIE/ln starfighters.
The convoy consisted of the EF76 Nebulon-B escort frigate Remembrance as the flagship, four CR90 corvettes including the Ranolfo, and two GR-75 medium transports. The Ranolfo was critically damaged in battle, and was left behind.
