After the Executor arrived at the station, the Emperor ordered for the vessel to destroy the station, though before it could be carried out, the Dawn Fleet arrived from hyperspace. The Crimson Dawn ships then began to target the long-range cannons of the Executor to prevent it from destroying the Amaxine Station. The admiral informed Sidious that whilst the Crimson Dawn posed no real threat to them, they had specifically targeted their long-range weapons, which forced the Executor to divert power to the shield batteries, and therefore meant there was to be a slight delay in carrying out the Emperor's order of destroying the station. When Sidious questioned how long the slight delay would be, the admiral responded with slight again. In response, the Emperor ordered the admiral to prepare a transport for him and Vader to travel to the station themselves.
