An insurgent fought against the Galactic Empire on the planet Bestine IV as part of a group of insurgents that was backed by the criminal syndicate Crimson Dawn. Between 3 ABY and 4 ABY, the insurgent and two others met with the crew of the bounty hunter T'onga when they arrived at Bestine after being hired by Crimson Dawn to intercept a shipment of munitions that was headed for an Imperial naval base. As T'onga and her crew departed her ship, the insurgent was underwhelmed at the amount of help Crimson Dawn sent, though T'onga tried to downplay the concern by stating they had brought the Trandoshan Bossk with them. As the transport that was carrying the shipment reached land, the insurgents and T'onga's crew made their way to it on speeder bikes.
After they boarded the transport, T'onga and the insurgents headed to the bridge in order to stop the ship. As they made their way there, they were caught in a firefight with coastal defender stormtroopers. During the fight, one of the insurgent's fellow soldiers was killed. With them outnumbered, the insurgent told T'onga to go with them, though this forced them to leave behind another insurgent. T'onga told the insurgent they couldn't leave the other behind, to which the insurgent informed the bounty hunter that the other knew the risks and was prepared to sacrifice his life for the cause. The insurgent then stated that the only thing that mattered was to reach the bridge and stop the ship, otherwise both theirs and T'onga's people would die. As they made their way inside, T'onga stopped to wonder why the lights were down. The insurgent informed her there was no time to wonder, adding they could see well enough to reach a control panel. T'onga expressed concern that something was not right, and moments later the insurgent was shot and killed by the Imperial officer Beilert Valance, an old friend of T'onga's.
