A landscape painting of the famous mountain Appenza Peak was displayed in the Royal Palace of Alderaan in 28 BBY. Senator Padmé Amidala of Naboo saw the painting on a visit to Alderaan and noted that its colors were bleak and dangerous, and the lake below Appenza Peak appeared dark and cold-looking.
