Unidentified Akwin

Biography

An Akwin was present on an island off the coast of the continent Laz on the planet Lazerian IV following the formation of the New Republic in 4 ABY. While he was on the island, a trader managed to take a holoimage of him and left to go to a bar to tell others about what he believed to be a sea monster. Unbeknownst to the trader, the Akwin had noticed him take the picture and returned to the sea to inform other Akwin of the event. Despite the trader's attempt to tell others of his experience, most disregarded his claims as nonsense.

However, a group of travelers in the bar did believe the trader and bought him drinks, over which he told them the location where he took the image. An Imperial marine biologist was also intrigued by the Akwin's existence and went to the island to investigate. Meanwhile, the Akwin had gathered five others of his kind, and they harassed the trader as he left the bar, dressed in robes to conceal themselves. The travelers intervened, attempting to protect the trader, but they were subdued by the Akwin, who made sure to refrain from injuring anyone involved in the scuffle. The Akwin proceeded to successfully escape with the holoimage. Soon after, the travelers went to the island where the first Akwin had been spotted only to encounter more Akwin, who confronted their uninvited guests.
