Tund system

The Tund system, also known as the Toong system, was a mysterious star system located in the Centrality sector of the Outer Rim Territories that contained the planet Tund, a hidden world that became the home of a Toong Podracer pilot named Ben Quadinaros. The Tund system lay in grid square U-8 of the Standard Galactic Grid.

The Tund system was first mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in the 1999 prequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. It was then pictured on a galactic map included with the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Beginner Game, a roleplaying game produced by Fantasy Flight Games and released in 2016. The reference book Star Wars: Complete Locations, which also released in that year, introduced the name "Toong system" as an alternative to Tund system. The StarWars.com Databank erroneously refers to the Tund system as a world rather than a star system.

The system was first mentioned in the Star Wars Legends continuity in Lando Calrissian and the Mindharp of Sharu, a 1983 novel written by L. Neil Smith as the first volume of the Star Wars: The Lando Calrissian Adventures trilogy.
