An outpost belonging to the Galactic Empire was located on the planet Trogan. Five years after the Empire's creation, the personal starship of Imperial Governor Wilhuff Tarkin was stolen by a rebel cell and used to attack Galidraan Station. Tarkin requested a list of nearby Imperial targets the cell might target next, and was given a list including the Trogan outpost and another at Jomark by an Imperial colonel. Tarkin chose to try and defend the planet Nam Chorios, but the rebels, in fact, attacked a TaggeCo orbital processing plant above Lucazec.
