Trennis

Trennis was a female individual who held the rank of Jedi Master in the Jedi Order during the time of the Galactic Republic. She became disillusioned with the Jedi, leaving the Order. Trennis was later known as one of the Lost Twenty, a group of Jedi who withdrew from the Jedi Order under similar circumstances.

A bronzium bust of Trennis was later placed within the Jedi Archives, which displayed the Jedi Master with a proud and defiant expression. In around 88 BBY, while taking a group of Jedi Initiates through the Archives, Grand Master Yoda looked back sadly on Trennis' departure from the Jedi Order, and subsequently instructed the young Initiates to learn from the Order's failure to keep the disillusioned Jedi where they belonged.

Trennis first appeared, as a statue, in the audiobook Dooku: Jedi Lost, written by Cavan Scott and published in 2019. The spelling of Trennis's name was given in the script of the audiobook. After the official announcement of the Star Wars: The High Republic publishing project, Scott revealed a summary for his Star Wars: The High Republic comic series, including a female Jedi named Keeve Trennis, though no connection was made with the Trennis from Dooku: Jedi Lost. When Scott was asked if the two characters were the same on Star Wars: The High Republic Show, he avoided the question.
