Trappus were large reptiles native to the Outer Rim Territories planet Dalna. The Dalnans typically used them to pull wagons when the planet's few landspeeders were otherwise occupied. Some of Dalna's more remote farmers also claimed trappus could sense groundquakes. Dalnan security chief Tracer Lore recommended to Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh that she ride a trappu when she was planning an expedition to the Maawat Mountains to investigate possible Nihil activity in the area.
