The planet Tralus was first pictured in Star Wars canon in the 2018 replica journal book Solo: A Star Wars Story: Tales from Vandor by Jason Fry on an image of the Corellian Engineering Corporation logo, showing all the planets of the Corellian system. It was later identified as Tralus in the 2019 Fantasy Flight Games roleplaying game sourcebook Gadgets and Gear. In the Star Wars Legends continuity, the planet was first mentioned in the 1995 novel Ambush at Corellia by Roger MacBride Allen, the first volume in Star Wars: The Corellian Trilogy. Tralus made its first appearance in the trilogy's second book, Assault at Selonia, later that same year.
