Totth'k Lotos

The Totth'k Lotos was an ancient Gree construct on Malanose that rejuvenated the body via immersion in a gelatinous liquid reputed to extend life, although in fact it only maximized a body's structural integrity, restoring the body to the optimum state of its current stage of development instead of reversing the aging process. The relic was the most famous artifact device on the artifact-world of Malanose, which housed a larger collection of large-scale artifacts compared to the rest of the Gree Enclave worlds.

The Lotos, a rare still-functioning large artifact device from the "most ancient and forgotten days", consisted of a pool containing a warm gel of green color enclosed within a vaulted chamber somewhere deep within a semi-functioning Gree guild hall on Malanose, an altar-like control module, and various gauges and controls ensconced in the chamber walls. Master Totth'k and his assistants operated the Lotos during the restorative immersion, which usually lasted one hour. The workings of this relic were geared towards Gree physiology, but on rare occasions aliens were permitted to use it if they were willing to supply the exorbitant tributes demanded by Master Totth'k, but they did so at their own risk, as non-Gree were known to sometimes experience adverse side-effects from immersion.
