Virtue began acting for radio with L.A. Theatre Works in 1993 with a role in Johnny on a Spot by Charles MacArthur. LATW contributed to the production of Return of the Jedi in 1996, and Virtue was cast as Major Derlin alongside other LATW veterans including John Lithgow (Yoda) and Ed Begley, Jr. (Boba Fett). Virtue went on to perform on five tours and close to two dozen plays with the company.
