Tiragga was first mentioned in the roleplaying game adventure The Quality of Mercy, written by Nicky Rea and published in February 1994 within the first issue of the Star Wars Adventure Journal. In the adventure, players journey to Kirtania in an attempt to acquire a cure for the Direllian Plague that is killing the Rebel base's personnel. The Star Wars: The Essential Atlas Online Companion placed the Tiragga system, and therefore Tiragga, in grid square N-3.
