Originally, the story was set on Camson and called "Cargo on Camson," but the Lucasfilm Story Group suggested using Thune from the Star Wars: Adventures in Wild Space series instead. According to Fisher, the story takes place between the Star Wars Rebels episodes "The Mystery of Chopper Base" and "Twilight of the Apprentice."
Page 27 of the magazine contains an editing error in the comic. In one of the panels, Hera Syndulla says "I had to take care off a pest problem before leaving the base" instead of the correct "I had to take care of a pest problem before leaving the base." This was corrected in the Star Wars Rebels TPB.
