The Star Wars Storybook

In 1983, this book's paperback edition was sold with The Empire Strikes Back Storybook and Return of the Jedi: The Storybook Based on the Movie in a box set titled Star Wars Treasury.

Continuity

Like other earlier adaptations of the film, the book includes the cut scenes of Luke Skywalker seeing the space battle above Tatooine as well as his meeting with Biggs Darklighter, complete with photos.

One of the full photos from the film, the one showing the Rebel starfighters approaching the Death Star, is reversed from the shot that appears in the pre-1997 cuts of the film. The storybook also switches the Gold and Red Squadrons' callsigns, so that Luke Skywalker flies as Gold Five.
