In a scary pumpkin patch, the Bad Batch take out battle droid guards in order to retrieve pumpkins for a grateful village. All seems to be going according to plan, until an old friend shows up to spoil the fun.
The episode opens with several B1 battle droids on patrol in a forest covered with pumpkins. One of the battle droids notices movement in the dark, misty forest. He approaches an improvised scare. The battle droid is startled when something grabs his comrades. The battle droid flees the area only to run into the path of a group of elite Clone troopers known as the "Bad Batch." The battle droid raises his blaster but Wrecker wrestles him to the ground. Once the battle droid has been restrained, Tech connects a datapad to the battle droid and reprogram him.
Later, the Bad Batch load pumpkins aboard their Omicron-class attack shuttle Marauder. They are assisted by the reprogrammed battle droid who carries several. After they have finished loaded the pumpkins, the battle droid attempts to join them but is thrown out of the Marauder. The Bad Batch depart, leaving the battle droid behind.
Later, the Bad Batch deliver the pumpkins to several villagers, who cheer their arrival. However, they are interrupted by their former comrade CT-9904 ("Crosshair"), who shoots at a pumpkin. The Bad Batch flee aboard their shuttle, leaving "Crosshair" to foam in rage. A boy presents a pumpkin to him but he casts it aside. The boy retaliates by kicking him in the shin, causing "Crosshair" to limp in pain.
