Two clone commando squads were assigned the dangerous task of retrieving the package intended for Supreme Chancellor Palpatine. Dispatched to Ord Mantell, a squad led by Sarge and another squad attempted to intercept a gang of mercenary Trandoshans transporting it.
The Trandoshans killed the latter squad and were pursued by the former to a meeting with Separatist battle droid forces. The ill-fated squad was whittled down to just its leader, who tackled and executed the lead Trandoshan with his combat knife.
Upon receipt of the package, Palpatine privately revealed that it was a worthless trinket and had it stored with his other gifts.
