The Lost Jedi Ship

Official description

The young Jedi find a long-lost Jedi ship.

Visiting the Temple Library

Jedi Master Zia Zaldor Zanna takes a class of Jedi Initiates to the Tenoo Jedi Temple's library. Kai Brightstar, Lys Solay, and Nubs are accompanied by a dark-skinned human girl with curly hair, a green-skinned humanoid boy with blue hair, and a yellow-skinned humanoid girl with straight brown hair. Brightstar is excited about reading holobooks about ancient Jedi from the Old Republic. Master Zanna leads them to the entrance of the library but warns that the library is very old and undergoing renovations. She mentions that there are ancient rooms that have been long-forgotten.

Brightstar races to the ancient Jedi history section while Solay races to find a section on Tenoo animals. Brightstar finds a stack of books and spots a book on the kyber crystals of Ilum. He attempts to retrieve that book but loses his balance and drops the books. While staring into the empty shelf, he sees a bright light behind the rocks. Brightstar is joined by Solay and Nubs, who take an interest in the light. Solay believes that it must be a hidden room. The three Jedi friends decide to explore the room and use their Force powers to clear away the rocks.

The lost starship

They enter an old Jedi storeroom where Solay finds a krayt dragon tooth. Nubs finds a hologram showing plants while Brightstar finds a star map with a beacon. They show the star map to Master Zia, who explains that it is an old starship tracker. She explains that pilots would leave them behind so people could find their ship if it got lost. Zanna says that the tracker is related to a starship called the Star Seeker. Brightstar recalls that the ship belonged to an adventurer who lived centuries ago and brought back artifacts for the Jedi Order.

Though the ship disappeared centuries ago, the light in the tracker indicates that the ship might still be out there. She determines that the ship is located on a nearby planet. Brightstar is eager to investigate. Master Zanna gives them permission to investigate, citing Master Yoda's instruction to explore the region. Brightstar, Solay, and Nubs are delighted. Brightstar contacts Nash Durango, telling her that they have a starship to find.

On a mission

While traveling through hyperspace, Durango discusses the objectives of their quest. She is excited about going on an adventure with her Jedi friends and makes up a new song. RJ-83 informs them that they have reached their coordinates, which turns out to be a green planet surrounded by an asteroid field. Nubs is scared but Brightstar vouches for Durango's piloting abilities. Brightstar puts up a brave face but acknowledges she needs help and gets the Jedi to help her man the ship. Nubs blasts incoming asteroids, clearing a path for the Crimson Firehawk to approach the planet.

They descend into the planet's atmosphere, which is covered by large canyons overlooking a body of water. The Jedi track the Star Seekers signal while Durango and RJ-83 stay behind to repair the ship, which was damaged by the asteroids. Durango reassures that RJ that the Jedi will be fine. While traveling through a greenish fog, the Jedi younglings encounter a droid, who retreats behind the fog and tells them that he doesn't want any visitors. The young Jedi use their Force powers to clear the fog, exposing the Star Seeker.

The lost explorer

The droid asks if they are Jedi and what brings them here. Brightstar explains that they followed the starship tracker. He shakes their hands and tells the younglings that he is relieved they are here. The droid introduces himself as 0G-LC and says that it has been a long time since he has seen anything else. 0G-LC introduces them to the ship's cargo compartment before revealing himself to be the pilot. When Brightstar and Nubs express surprise, he explains that his mission was to explore the Outer Rim for the Jedi and to bring back what he learned.

When Solay asks how he ended up on the planet, 0G-LC explains that his ship was damaged by two big asteroids and that he crash-landed before he could return to Tenoo. The Jedi tell him that the Jedi Temple is on Tenoo and offer to help him return there. 0G-LC explains that he repaired the ship years ago. When Brightstar asks why hasn't he returned, 0G-LC laments that he is afraid and is no longer a brave adventurer. When Solay asks what they can do, Brightstar proposes encouraging him.

The three Jedi meet 0G-LC in the cockpit. Brightstar tells him that even Jedi experience fear but that being brave means facing one's fears. He says that he has friends by his side. Despite his fear of flying through the asteroid field, 0G-LC decides to give it a try so that he can complete his mission and return to Tenoo. Brightstar decides to contact Durango and update her. Later, Solay explains their plan to Durango, which involves Durango and RJ-83 flying in the Crimson Bolt first with the rest following in the Star Seeker.

Overcoming fear

As they approach the asteroid field, Brightstar and his friends encourage 0G-LC while Durango leads the way in the Crimson Bolt. While Durango flies the ship, RJ-83 uses the gun turret to blow apart an asteroid. 0G-LC is fearful as they approach two asteroids. He finds an opening through the two asteroids and speeds through the narrow path. They rejoin the Crimson Bolt outside the asteroid field. The Jedi are jubilant while 0G-LC is proud that he has overcome his fear.

Back on Tenoo, 0G-LC passes an artifact with a purple crystal to a pleased Master Zanna, who says that Jedi have been studying them for a long time. Having completed his mission and regained his confidence, 0G-LC resolves to continue his mission of exploring new worlds, stating that he has visited 100 worlds. Brightstar says that they will keep in touch with his whereabouts with the starship tracker. Solay tells 0G-LC that he is always welcome to visit. 0G-LC bids his Jedi friends goodbye and wishes that the Force will be with them before flying away in the Star Seeker.
