The Freeman Memorial appeared in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. The Freeman Memorial was added to the game with the release of the Chapter 11 on November 20, 2008. It honored the former lead gameplay designer Jeff Freeman who tragically took his life in 2008 at the age of 39.
