The Archive

Master Junda's Archive was operated with the help of many Narkis Anchorites, who also helped Junda connect with the Hidden Path, a network of safe houses that protected those persecuted by the Empire. These Anchorites included Brother Armias and Sister Taske. Through their connection with the Path, Junda became reunited with her master, Eno Cordova, who joined Junda in maintaining the Archive. Eventually, they recruited the Nightsister Merrin to assist as well.

In 9 BBY, Jedi Knight Cal Kestis, the apprentice of Junda, arrived at the Archive along with Junda's old friend Greez Dritus and Kestis's new friend Bode Akuna. Master Cordova assisted the men in using the Archive's records to investigate the fallen High Republic Era Jedi Dagan Gera and information on the hidden planet Tanalorr which lay behind the deadly Koboh Abyss. Kestis brought Cordova three Abyss compasses, and he was able to repair the final one. However, Bode Akuna, secretly working as an Imperial Security Bureau asset, betrayed the location of the Archive to the Inquisitorius. He stole the compass, killed Cordova, and fled on speeder bike. Kestis pursued Akuna, and Junda stayed behind to defend the Archive from the incoming Imperial forces. She and Merrin secured the hangar bay, but Junda soon sensed a familiar dark presence approaching the Archive itself. Junda fought against Darth Vader in the Archive as the Sith Lord lay waste to the many holobooks. Junda eventually was slain by Vader, and most of the Archive was destroyed.

Following the battle, Sister Taske stayed behind to care to the facility in memory of her fallen Anchorite brethren.
