Temple of Nul

The temple was built as a fortress that was spread out across the planet, which contained many of Nul's creations. The most notable ones were stored in the main temple, which rested on a high peak which housed a machine protecting a holocron that contained the locations of "unworthy" Force-sensitive children deemed useless by both the Sith and the Jedi.

After Darth Malgus's theft of an artifact on Dantooine, both the Empire and Republic learned of the artifact's original creator: Darth Nul, a Sith Lord whose records were seemingly erased from the galaxy, which prompted both superpowers to send teams to various ruined Sith and Jedi sites including Elom which was a base used by Nul.

It was visited by Jedi Master Denolm Orr and his Padawan Sa'har Kateen to retrieve a holocron, which later resulted in Denolm's death at the hands of Darth Malgus, who took the holocron and left Sa'har to escape on her own. After Malgus escaped the temple's destruction, he came face-to-face with the Alliance Commander, who defeated and imprisoned him. But Sa'har, who had also survived, found the holocron that Malgus left for her to find and escaped the planet with it.
