Tarsarian devourer

The stompers were non-native beasts, kept only in zoos, that initially thrived in the post-bombardment jungles of Taris, but were overwhelmed by their more aggressive infected cousins. Although it was impossible to contract the rakghoul plague from these creatures, the devourers became the strongest and most feared species of the planet, on the top of the Tarisian food chain.
