A targeting laser was a device often attached to a weapon, such as a laser cannon on starfighters for precision targeting. The Delta-7 Aethersprite-class light interceptor came with a calibrated laser targeting system built in. The Gyrhil R-9X heavy laser cannon installed on the A/SF-01 B-wing starfighter and B-wing Mark II both included a precision targeting laser. The helmet worn by the bounty hunter Boushh and later by Leia Organa as she used it to impersonate him also featured a targeting laser built into the head bracket.
