Tangrada-Nii

The Tangrada-Nii were an ancient culture hailing from a location near the Oridol Cluster, believing that the star cluster was a living god. General Mardroon, a member of the culture, passed on a saying the general called crossing the threshold of the mirror, which warned of the risks of understanding your enemy too well. The descendants of the Tangrada-Nii became the Tagra-Tel, who sought to investigate the Oridol Cluster.

Some weeks after the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY, Palal Seedia, a pilot of the Galactic Empire's 204th Imperial Fighter Wing, told the New Republic pilot Wyl Lark about the Tangrada-Nii over a comm channel while in the cluster itself and she later recited Mardroon's teachings to the another New Republic pilot named Chass na Chadic when the pair were stranded on the planet Catadra around 5 ABY.

The Tangrada-Nii were first mentioned in the 2019 novel Alphabet Squadron, written by Alexander Freed.
