Esan attended a gathering called by Malak, around the time Revan decided to involve the Order in the Mandalorian Wars (circa 3963 BBY), in the presence of Meetra Surik and Bastila Shan, and fellow comrades Cariaga Sin, Xaset Terep, and Nisotsa. In the end, Talvon made the fateful decision to defy the Jedi High Council, and to go to war with Malak and Revan against the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders.
In Meetra's vision, he wielded a green lightsaber.
Talvon Esan's face is one of the available male faces for the Jedi Exile, to be chosen by the player at the start of the game. If the player, as a male, chooses his face, then Esan's face would be replaced with another.
