Talk: Cha Niathal

Possible Image

Did anybody else who owns Jedi vs Sith the essential guide notice a mon calamari at the far right behind Caedus in the Funeral of Mara Jade picture? Im pretty sure thats her. Only people that own the book can see the full pic cause the one on wookiepedia is cropped Steves490 20:46, 14 March 2008 (UTC)

Probably, I thought that since it was a mon-cal next to solo it was prob her but its hard to tell since they were both at the funeral. But he was standing in the Jedi area so yeah ur prob right Steves490 00:28, 15 March 2008 (UTC)

Successor

Just out of curiosity, is Niathal still the Supreme Commander of the Defense Force or has she been replaced? If so, then by who? Jedi Wolf 18:10, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

  • We'll probably find out in Legacy of the Force: Invincible.--Darth Revanon 1:37, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

That's true. I ask because of the current situation; that she and President Caedus had a fallout and that as President of the Alliance-in-exile she's her own Supreme Commander, which we all know leaves a vacancy in Solo's faction. Jedi Wolf 21:38, 11 April 2008 (UTC)

Invincible

Do we have any information on what happens to Niathal in Invincible yet?Darth Nikolai 06:43, 11 May 2008 (UTC)

Death Conjecture

While Invincible does state that Niathal's forces were wiped out, that in no way speaks definitively to her status at the end of the war. Her death is purely conjecture and should not be part of the actual article. If it is put into the Behind the Scenes section, that may be more appropriate. Wookiepedia is supposed to be encyclopedic, and conjecture is not encyclopedic.Darthcraigious 02:54, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

  • I belive the outcome of the Second Battle of Roche is revealed through the thoughts of Darth Caedus before/during the Battle of Shedu Maad. I dont remeber if it says wiped out, but Niathal's forces were defeated. Steves490 14:30, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
  • I'm not arguing but the Alliance-in-exile defeat in the Second Battle of Roche does not specifically speak to Niathal's death. Remember Daala also lost the battle and survived. This goes back to my conjecture point, it seems ill-placed in the main text of what is supposed to be an encyclopedic article.Darthcraigious 21:53, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
  • Yeah I agree, there isn't even a hint to her death. The reason she didn't try to reclaim the cheif of state position could be that she was already weary of it by revelation Steves490 23:00, 16 July 2008 (UTC)
  • If no one has any objection I'll take the death references out of the article. I didnt want to edit someone elses work without discussing it first. Darthcraigious 20:17, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
