TK-9091 was the designation of a human male Stormtrooper Commander who served in Darth Vader's personal stormtrooper legion, Vader's Fist. During the secret mission to Tatooine, TK-9091 informed Vader that the Death Star plans were not in the Tantive IV's main computer, and he and several other troopers were sent to search for Princess Leia Organa aboard the ship. Whilst searching the escape pod bay, TK-9091 spotted her hiding in an alcove and ordered his troopers to set their weapons to the stun setting. The princess then shot him with her Defender sporting blaster, killing him instantly.
TK-9091 appears in the 1977 film Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. He was later identified in the short story "The Bucket" from the 2017 anthology book From a Certain Point of View.
In the 2016 graphic novel Star Wars: The Original Trilogy – A Graphic Novel, TK-9091 survives his confrontation with Leia Organa aboard the Tantive IV. There, Organa shoots a stun blast which TK-9091 dodges and hits another stormtrooper instead, leading TK-9091 to stun Organa.
