It was run by the same family for ten generations. The farm was located in the outbacks of Dantooine, far from galactic events until the Clone Wars. During the Battle of Dantooine, Paxi Sylo, one of the family's children, ran up a hill near the farm to witness the ongoing fighting.
By the time of the Galactic Empire, the Sylo farm had been abandoned.
