Sub-alternator

Sub-alternators were a type of starship component. In 232 BBY, a starship initially tasked with transporting four Jedi from Coruscant to the Starlight Beacon space station was pulled off of the task after suffering a blown subalternator, leading to the Byne Guild transport Vessel being substituted in its place. By 35 ABY, the Millenium Falcon had two, both of which were blown out by Poe Dameron while hyperspace skipping.
