Storini glass prowler

The Storini glass prowler was a crystalline insect from Storinal. It was harmless, and could be kept as a pet. It was bipedal, walking on two limbs, and had two additional forelimbs which it would use to scratch at its surroundings.

Ton Phanan had one, which he stole from a research facility while on a mission to Storinal.

Eurrsk Thri'ag also stole one during the same mission, hoping to use it as a prank. He would eventually slip it into the cockpit of Garik Loran's X-wing, intending that it would surprise him mid flight. The Bothan was unaware that Phanan had also taken one and that Loran, being Ton's wingman, was familiar with the insect. Thus when the creature crawled on him during flight, he initially mistook it for Ton's pet.

After the mission, when they realized that it wasn't Phanan's, Loran deduced that Thri'ag must be the unknown prankster that had been victimizing members of the squadron, as the slicer was the only one who could have gained access codes to Loran's ship. In retaliation, they made him believe that the creature he had taken was actually a fictitious predator, the Storini Crystal Deceiver, which was now hunting him.

Following the incident, Phanan also took care of the second glass prowler. After Phanan's death, his glass prowlers were passed on to his friend Garik Loran, who continued to take care of them.
