Static hyperspace field generator

A static hyperspace field generator was a device that produced a static hyperspace field. It consisted of two large nozzles placed in an angle facing towards a circular base; the field, resembling a bright white light was formed on top of this base. By 34 ABY, the First Order had successfully constructed one such generator and were using it in their prototype hyperspace tracker carried on board the Supremacy to track the fleeing Resistance forces across the galaxy. The First Order's generator was placed behind a glass screen on top of a tower on the very center of the tracker room, surrounded by computers and databanks whose calculation speeds were accelerated to an unimaginable degree by the static hyperspace field.
