The Starlight Deck was the euphemistic name for the lower-class accommodations on the Star of Empire. Located near the drive chambers, the deck contained no actual viewports. One would have to pass mazelike halls, narrow passageways, tubway, lifts, and moving sidewalks to reach the ship's hangar or the observation deck.
Kyle Katarn was assigned a cubicle-like cabin which featured a shower and a computer terminal scanning the ship's layout and activities.
