The Mark II had multiple deflector shield generator domes on its mast as well as engines on its extended aft section and rear of the frontal section. The warship was equipped with a Magnite Crystal Tractor Beam Array with six tractor beam projectors surrounding a frontal hangar. One Starhawk-class Battleship Mark II traveled near the New Republic ecumenopolis Hosnian Prime, where it was accompanied by at least seventeen X-wing starfighters. That Starhawk was decorated with the blue and yellow colors of the New Republic, including the starburst insignia on its starboard side.
