Starblossom

Starblossom was a type of fruit that grew on the planet Alderaan and was edible to members of the human species. Following the destruction of Alderaan by the Galactic Empire in 0 BBY, Santigo Milon, an Alderaanian survivor who was living on the planet Coruscant, wished that he had starblossom to eat. His sister, Anandra Milon, scolded him for the wishful thinking, as starblossom were no longer available to them or, as far as Anandra knew, anyone else in the galaxy.

The starblossom fruit was mentioned in the new Star Wars canon in the short story "One Thousand Levels Down," which was written by Alexander Freed and published in Star Wars Insider 151 on July 22, 2014. It originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, where it first appeared in the 1995 novel Children of the Jedi by Barbara Hambly.
