The Free Comic Book Day issue Star Wars: Tales—A Jedi's Weapon was published in May 2002. It is comprised of the story "A Jedi's Weapon," which was later featured in Star Wars Tales 12.
Some of the stories featured in Star Wars Tales are non-continuity. The success of the series ultimately led to Star Wars Infinities, a group of comic book miniseries that tell alternate-history versions of the Star Wars original trilogy.
