Star Tours Flight 1401 was the designation of a Star Tours travel agency flight from Spaceport THX1138 to Coruscant, with passengers including a Rebel spy. Prior to the ship's departure from the spaceport, Imperial agents discovered the spy's presence and attempted to arrest the Rebel. The vessel took off and fought its way past Imperial ships surrounding the space station. After being chased through hyperspace, the StarSpeeder 1000 landed and delivered the spy to safety.
The flight was originally intended to be piloted by the AC series pilot droid AC-38. However, due to a last-minute mix up, the protocol droid C-3PO ended up piloting the vessel instead.
