A spy shuttle was a spacecraft employed by the New Republic Defense Force circa 17 ABY. While onboard a spy shuttle en route to the Fifth Fleet in the Koornacht Cluster during the Black Fleet Crisis, Commodore Han Solo was yanked from hyperspace by a Yevethan ship. His escort starfighters were disabled and Solo was taken prisoner by the Yevetha, who wanted to use him as political leverage on his wife and Chief of State Leia Organa Solo.
