The Southern Ocean was a large body of water on the planet Kesh. It was situated south of the two main continents of Keshtah and Alanciar. The large frozen continent of Eshkrene at the planet's South Pole was situated south of the ocean. Under the Hilts Restoration, large wooden sailing ships including the Southern Star used to explore the Southern Ocean. Uvaks were also known to be capable of flying for long distances over the Southern Ocean.
