Sonsigo

Sonsigo was brought to life by creature and droid performer Olly Taylor in the film Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens, which was released in North America on December 18, 2015. Sonsigo and Munduri were both hand puppets controlled by their preformers from below the bench the characters sat on. The character was not identified in the film and known only as a "snooty pirate" on set, but received a name in the reference book Star Wars: The Force Awakens: The Visual Dictionary, which was written by Pablo Hidalgo and released in conjunction with the film.
