Sofia Coppola


Sofia Coppola (born May 14, 1971) is an American screenwriter, director, producer, and actress who has a cameo as Saché, one of Queen Amidala's handmaidens, in the 1999 film Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace. She is the sister of Roman Coppola, and daughter of director Francis Ford Coppola, a longtime friend of George Lucas. She is known for playing Mary Corleone in the 1990 film The Godfather Part III and for writing and directing titles such as the 1999 drama film The Virgin Suicides, the 2003 comedy-drama Lost in Translation, the 2006 historical drama Marie Antoinette and the 2017 thriller drama The Beguiled.
