So-Hem was a captain in the Rebel Alliance's military who served aboard the starship Sixmoon in the Alliance Fleet during the Galactic Civil War. In 3 ABY, So-Hem and the Sixmoon were among four rebel battle groups in a flotilla in the Elochar sector consisting of a dozen rebel ships, including the CR90 corvette Thunderstrike, the troop transport of the 61st Mobile Infantry. So-Hem invited members of the 61st from the Thunderstrike to visit the Sixmoon. The 61st soldiers Gadren and Roach intended to accept the captain's invitation and Gadren offered another member of the company, the ex-bounty hunter Brand, to join them, to which she refused.
