Slicing units, also known as hijack units or slicing kits, were technology used by slicers to take control of technology. Doctor Chelli Aphra planted several slicing units on Rebel Alliance technology, including the protocol droid Teezee-Too. She later used one of her slicing units that Teezee-Too had missed to take control of the droid, allowing Aphra to give Teezee-Too orders. Aphra later used another slicing unit to control a cam droid and broadcast the plans of Minister Pitina Voor to the galaxy.
