Silver was a clone captain during the Clone Wars. At the time of the civil war between the Confederacy of Independent Systems and the Galactic Republic, Silver served the latter as a clone navigation officer in the Republic Navy. In 21 BBY, the Venator-class Star Destroyer Endurance was sabotaged by Boba Fett in an assassination attempt on Jedi Master Mace Windu, and crashed onto the surface of Vanqor. Silver, in command of a Pelta-class frigate, rescued survivors that managed to get to the escape pods, while Master Windu and fellow Jedi Anakin Skywalker searched the downed ship for other survivors. After finding no signs of life, Windu ordered Silver to head back to the medical station and wait for them. Silver complied and went into lightspeed.
As a clone of Jango Fett, Silver stood 1.83 meters tall, had natural black hair, tan skin, and brown eyes. They wore a gray naval suit and a rank insignia plaque with one blue square on the left and two red squares on the right.
Silver first appeared in the twenty-first episode of Season Two of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, "R2 Come Home," released on April 24, 2010 in the UK, and on April 30 in the US.
