Signal eradicator was a type of communications scrambler. They were installed in the High Council Tower of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, with the central topmast incorporating multi-frequency eradicator/scrambler. They scrambled attempts to pinpoint location of Jedi in the field by locking on to their communications with the Temple. During the Battle of Murkhana, the Galactic Republic forces were equipped with S-thread jammers, signal eradicators, and HoloNet chafing devices.
