Signal Intelligence (Rebel Alliance)

Signal Intelligence, also referred to as Signals Intelligence, was an intelligence organization within the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Its technicians gathered secret information from Imperial electronic signals such as encrypted communications chatter. In 4 ABY, in the morning after the Battle of Endor, Han Solo reported that Signal Intelligence had finished decryption of a batch of Imperial transmissions before the remainder of the Imperial Navy turned tail and ran.
