Siege platform

A siege platform was a battle station that served as a dedicated siege instrument. In the aftermath of the Invasion of Naboo, a torpedo siege platform was a proposed design developed by the Galactic Republic's Special Weapons Group, yet the project never passed the planning stages due to the pacifist views of the government and following lack of funding. Torpedo Spheres were a type of siege platform constructed by the Galactic Empire, successor government of the Galactic Republic. The Torpedo Spheres were two kilometers in length and were armed with hundreds of torpedo launchers.
